These terms explain how you may use the website and mobile app, including accounts, subscriptions, acceptable use, and liability.

We’re a small independent team based in the Midlands. We aim to respond seven days a week, but occasionally replies may take a little longer — thank you for your patience.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to TheoryPass.org.uk and associated mobile applications (the “Service”), operated by iByte Apps Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Accounts

  • You may create an account via the website or the mobile app.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You may delete your account from the Settings page/tab on the website or app.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions and purchases may be processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or Stripe. We do not store full card details. Billing, cancellations, refunds, and renewal rules may vary depending on the platform you used to purchase.

  • App Store / Google Play: manage subscriptions in your Apple/Google account settings.
  • Stripe purchases: any applicable billing terms will be shown at checkout.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes (but isn’t limited to):

  • attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts
  • uploading malicious code or abusing the Service
  • scraping content in a way that harms performance or violates rights
  • using the Service for unlawful purposes

5. Content and learning information

The Service provides educational and revision tools. While we aim for accuracy and quality, you are responsible for your own preparation and compliance with DVSA rules and official guidance.

6. Marketing communications

We may send marketing emails. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting support.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to minimise disruption and improve features over time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses resulting from your use of the Service, including indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
